El Viejo Buzón

Neighbourhood bar with a lot of character

This old bar with a neighbourhood feel is popular with supporters, and players, of Ferro Carril Oeste football club, whose stadium is nearby, and the owners consider the place to be an extension of the club.

But it’s not all football. A radio station also broadcasts from the bar, and there are music performances and milongas (tango dance events) some evenings, making it a popular place for neighbours to socialise.

The bar’s name - “old postbox" in Spanish - comes from the British-style red postbox outside.
